Your "Transfigured" Life
Paul used the phrase "in Christ", 169 times in his writings, so the question for me is, what does being *"in Christ", actually mean? What does it mean to become a new creature? These are the things I began to ask myself as I studied this phrase, so the first thing to do was to look up the actual phrase, "in Christ", in context.
What an humbling experience: **as I began to read each verse with the phrase "in Christ", I once again realize how far I fall short of the mark.
However, I also am assured that as long as I am *** pressing toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God "in Christ" Jesus, then God will continue to reveal his perfect will to me.
My prayer today is that we will not look back at our past, but that we will "press forward" as we strive to live every day "in Christ".
